The Nike Vaporwaffle sacai Dark Iris is Chitose Abe's doubled-up hybrid built on the Vaporfly and Waffle platforms, done in a purple and orange palette. Buy it if you want the sacai design language on a lighter, more technical tooling than the LD Waffle.
The upper carries the sacai signatures: two Swooshes, two tongues, doubled eyelets and heel tabs, in a mesh and suede mix. Underneath, the Vaporwaffle uses a foam midsole derived from Nike's racing line, which makes it noticeably lighter and springier than the LD Waffle it followed.
