ASICS GT-2160 'Piedmont Grey Blue' (2024)

ASICS - GT-2160 'Piedmont Grey Blue' is the latest iteration of ASICS’ heritage‑inspired GT‑2160 silhouette for 2024 — a sneaker that seamlessly blends technical running DNA with modern lifestyle appeal. Drawing on decades of performance innovation from the brand’s famed GT‑2000 series, this colorway elevates the design with a refined neutral palette anchored in Piedmont Grey and accented by cool blue tones, making it as stylish on city streets as it is comfortable for all‑day wear.

Overview

Rooted in ASICS’ rich legacy of runner‑centric engineering, the GT‑2160 ‘Piedmont Grey Blue’ maintains the model’s signature wavy forefoot sculpting and segmented midsole that nod to early 2010s technical design. The upper combines breathable mesh with layered synthetic overlays, resulting in a structured yet comfortable fit that accommodates natural movement. Underfoot, ASICS’ proprietary GEL® technology inserts deliver trusted shock absorption, while the durable rubber outsole ensures reliable traction across varied surfaces. Subtle blue accents and the iconic Tiger Stripes enhance the sneaker’s visual texture, creating a versatile aesthetic that works seamlessly from casual outfits to sporty ensembles. Sustainability also plays a role in the GT‑2160’s construction, with recycled materials and a solution‑dyed sockliner reducing water usage and carbon emissions in production.
